"Ick." Such shamelessness bothered Toris; it served as a reminder of everything even slightly wrong with the human race. Starbucks, too, was just another icon of Westernization, more so than it showed the progress of capitalism in the former Soviet Bloc. Watching his own culture vanish for progress's sake made him sad, but what else could he do? "The little local shops are the best. I wouldn't mind walking to one even if it's kind of far. Their prices aren't as outrageous, besides."

"Like, yeah, totally!" Feliks nodded in agreement. "I mean, c'mon, the coffee, like, sucks anyway, and it's like so expensive!" He glanced out briefly at the street map, and was promptly disappointed to only find the bus routes instead of some kind of suggestion for a coffeehouse. "Like, I dunno any good coffee places around here, but, like, it's pretty easy to, like, find one."
